Right of Withdrawal & Refund Policy

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send us a clear statement (e.g. a letter or email) to privacy@echotype.cloud informing us of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may also contact Paddle directly at paddle.net. You can use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not required.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you within 14 days of the day we receive notice of your withdrawal. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction for this refund, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you. We will not charge any fees for this refund. Since EchoType is a digital service (digitale Dienstleistung) and not a one-time digital content download, your right of withdrawal expires only after complete fulfillment of the subscription period (§ 356 Abs. 4 BGB). For a monthly subscription, the service is not "completely fulfilled" within the 14-day withdrawal period, so your withdrawal right remains fully intact. Paddle processes all refunds as our Merchant of Record.

Paddle — Merchant of Record

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record (MoR) for all EchoType subscriptions. Paddle handles payment processing, tax collection, invoicing, and refunds on our behalf. To request a refund through Paddle, use the "Manage subscription" link in your order confirmation email or visit paddle.net. Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to: (1) subsequent automatic renewal payments of your subscription, since you consent to these at the time of the initial purchase; (2) subscription periods that have been fully utilized after the 14-day withdrawal period has expired; (3) accounts that have been suspended or terminated for violations of our Terms of Service; (4) Pro access granted through administrative grants, where no payment was made.
